Geography Teacher - Full Time - To Start 2nd June until 18th July

Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a dynamic Secondary Geography teacher in the Kendal area?

Tradewind are currently recruiting for an experienced Geography teacher or Strong Cover Supervisor with excellent knowledge who is confident to plan and mark. This role is for a large mainstream Secondary school, predominantly teaching KS3 and KS4 students.

The role is to start as ASAP ongoing until further notice. The School within the Kendal area is offering a long-term full-time placement 5 day a week with a possibility for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

The school is based in Kendal and has excellent public transport links.

This Secondary School is rated 'Good' it aims to provide the highest standards of teaching and learning so that all children can achieve their academic potential. They ensure that they foster and develop the social and emotional well-being of their children as well as concentrating on developing the potential of their staff.   • Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching KS3/KS4
  • Degree in English or equivalent is preferred
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure
  • Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
