In short: Classic Senior PMO Analyst required to join a cyber programme in supporting the programme manager's office. Nothing niché here; standard PMO activities, chasing down tasks / deadlines, challenging project managers and project status.

Key accountabilities:

  • Ensure projects within the programme adhere to the required governance and controls.
  • Maintaining and monitoring the quality of project/programme RAID and Action logs
  • Maintaining and guide projects through the delivery framework, ensuing product contracts and other required delivery artefacts are produced by projects
  • Overseeing the project change control log and administrating the change board records
  • Assist the Programme Manager with production of management reports
  • Responsible for administering SharePoint for the programme team
  • Responsible for developing governance packs (weekly and monthly cadence)
  • Carrying out stage gate assessments and change requests, and co-ordinating, recording the review and approval process
  • Co-Ordinating and recording regular team progress reports.
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings
  • Onboarding new team members, following procedures
  • Providing general administration support as required
  • Implement, own, and manage central document storage for projects
  • Liaise with Key Stakeholders within the business to provide and gain updates for wider communication
  • Departmental Hub Administration
  • KPI data and reporting updates
  • Reporting

Experience required:

  • Experience of working in organisations with time bound and competing priorities
  • Experience of working within a Project Support position or within a project environment would be beneficial
  • Experience of working with PMO processes and standard PMO documentation (e.g. RAID, Action logs, Plans, chance requests, Stakeholder management)
  • Experience of using SharePoint or similar would be beneficial
  • Experience of minute taking and record keeping
  • Experience of document management and best practice regarding information storage
  • Experience of working in a team. Working together towards the delivery of team goals and targets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to accurately understand customer requirements and to provide clear advice as required
  • Experience of working effectively to comply with business processes and standards
  • Significant knowledge of office practices
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages and business systems (MS Office, and SharePoint are also desirable)
  • Experience of working with project development plans
