Interim Stock Condition Surveyor X3Location: Warwickshire (Site-based with office attendance as required)Contract Type: 3 – 6 months initially Rate: Inside IR35

As a Stock Condition Surveyor, you will be responsible for collecting and analysing stock condition data, including Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) assessments and Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) data. Your work will directly inform their strategic and operational approach to maintaining and improving the housing stock.You will support the Council’s commitment to meeting the Regulator of Social Housing’s Quality and Safety Standard, contributing to the delivery of key programmes such as Regulatory Workstreams, Decent Homes, and Decarbonisation Initiatives.Responsibilities• Conduct detailed stock condition surveys across the Council’s housing portfolio• Carry out HHSRS assessments as part of a 20% rolling annual programme• Collect and input EPC data; EPC accreditation is desirable, but training will be provided if needed• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and technical standards• Provide accurate data to support strategic planning and investment decisions• Act as a first line of defence in identifying and addressing property condition issues• Collaborate with a growing, supportive team to improve housing quality and resident satisfactionExperience:• Strong understanding of building condition, component lifecycles, and housing standards• Experience conducting property surveys and assessments• Knowledge of HHSRS and relevant housing regulations• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
