Due to increased customer demand from our key clients, Jumar is expanding their Business Analysis capability, and we are looking to hire an accomplished, MI/Data Business Analyst on a 6 month FTC (Fixed Term Contract) to join our thriving, Midlands based BA team in May 2025.

This is a superb full-time opportunity to join Jumar's highly successful BA practice - working for Jumar as part of our EOD model (Experts on Demand) - supporting the increase in demand from projects - and working onsite with our leading financial services client.

The successful candidate will be a well rounded and seasoned, Midlands based MI/Data Business Analyst who can travel weekly to our client's impressive head office in Warwickshire (1 day per week onsite, the rest remote working).

Our Technology Division at Jumar has been trusted for more than a decade to deliver mission-critical digital development projects to a range of industries around the world. Our projects cover the entire delivery life cycle from capturing initial business requirements, through to code development, QA activities - all the way through to release and ongoing production support.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data/MI Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing, interpreting, and presenting data to drive business decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in data visualization tools, and the ability to communicate complex data findings in an understandable manner.

The successful candidate will be an accomplished, Midlands based Data Business Analyst with proven experience working on MI workstreams/projects. Ideally we are looking for someone who has come from a development background with strong SQL.

Ideal Experience:

  • Strong Business Analyst with experience in data analysis / business intelligence
  • Experience working on MI workstreams/projects
  • Strong SQL
  • Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and statistical analysis software (e.g., SQL, R, Python)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Experience with data modelling and database design is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of [industry-specific software or tools]
  • Familiarity with Cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Software development background ideal
  • Certification in data analytics or business intelligence (e.g., CBIP, CAP) is a plus
