We are seeking an adept Maintenance Engineer, who will be responsible for the regular upkeep and repair of industrial manufacturing equipment. This role is based in Coleshill and plays a pivotal role in maintaining the operational efficiency of our organisation.

Description

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly.
  • Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
  • Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
  • Monitor the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment.
  • Coordinate work functions with engineering and manufacturing departments.
  • Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
  • Perform safety audits and improve production processes to guarantee compliance with safety standards.
  • Document type and cost of maintenance or repair work.

Profile

A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:

  • A relevant qualification in engineering or a related field.
  • Worked in an industrial manufacturing environment.
