Trainee/Junior Service Technician – Tooling & Calibration

Location: Kenilworth
Salary: £22,000 – £26,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday

An established industrial tooling specialist is looking for a Trainee/Junior Technician to join their service and calibration team. This hands-on role involves the repair, maintenance, and calibration of pneumatic, electric, and DC tooling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on a range of industrial tools

  • Perform calibrations and function checks to set standards

  • Maintain accurate service records and use workshop systems

  • Support the wider team with technical input and fast turnaround times

Requirements:

  • Any level of experience in a hands-on mechanical/electrical role

  • Ability to interpret technical documentation/drawings

  • Methodical, safety-conscious and detail-focused

Desirable:

  • Interest in DC, pneumatic, and electric tooling
  • Experience with calibrations or HAV testing

  • Formal qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering (e.g. NVQ, HNC, BEng/MEng)
