A hugeley sucessful privately owned, supplier to the UK's takeaway and casual dining sector is seeking a commercially driven Managing Director to lead the business through its next phase of development.
With a loyal customer base and daily deliveries across England and Wales, the business is a key player in its specialist food product niche. It has built a reputation for excellent service, dependable logistics, and strong client relationships, supplying a range of establishments from independent takeaways to national foodservice chains.
This newly created role represents a unique opportunity to professionalise and scale a well-established, family-run business while respecting its entrepreneurial heritage and customer-first ethos.
The Opportunity
- Take full strategic and operational ownership of a £28M turnover business
- Oversee commercial, financial, and day-to-day operations to ensure sustainable growth
- Enhance systems, processes and team capability to support scale
- Drive market expansion and operational efficiency
- Lead a committed team through a period of positive transformation
- Act as a trusted advisor to the founders and a key driver of long-term value
About You
- Proven senior leadership experience in foodservice, wholesale, FMCG, or distribution
- Track record of driving commercial growth and operational improvement
- Strong financial, operational and people leadership capabilities
- Experience within founder-led or family-owned businesses is highly desirable
- Comfortable in a hands-on, fast-paced environment with a strong customer focus
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Midlands (Warwickshire HQ)
