Trainee Materials Technician

Eurotest Ltd is a UKAS-accredited materials testing laboratory, proudly serving the construction and civil engineering industry since 2000. We've worked on high-profile infrastructure and building projects across the UK, offering specialist testing services for concrete, soils, and aggregates, both on-site and in our laboratory.

We are looking for a Trainee Site Materials Technician to join our team, based out of our Kettering/Corby laboratory. You will be trained to carry out a variety of construction material tests, mainly on-site, following current industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel to client sites daily to perform various site tests to current British Standards and in-house procedures.

• Perform tests such as slump, cube, and moisture content tests

• Accurately record and report results

• Represent the company professionally on all site visits

• Maintain equipment and ensure safe working practices

• A good general level of education

• Full, clean UK driving licence essential

• Willingness to travel (extensive driving involved)

• Punctual, reliable, and committed work ethic

• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and progress

• Strong communication and professionalism when dealing with clients

• CSCS Card beneficial but not essential.
