Housing Development and Regeneration Officer
Contract: 3 months (potential for extension)
Rate: 25-35 per hour (dependent on experience, Inside IR35)
Hours: 37 per week
Start Date: ASAP

Our client in Northamptonshire is looking for a proactive and skilled development and acquisitions specialist to join their Housing Property Services team to manage new build Housing projects.

Key duties of the role Housing Development and Regeneration Officer includes:

  • Shaping the future of housing across Northamptonshire
  • Supporting the delivery of new build council housing and estate regeneration projects
  • Acquiring and disposing of social housing properties to meet housing needs
  • Working with partners including housing associations, developers, and internal teams
  • Contributing to strategic planning, funding bids, and policy development
  • Ensuring developments meet high standards of design, accessibility, and sustainability

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent experience in a housing services or development environment
  • Experience in affordable housing development and project work
  • Knowledge of planning, construction, and housing policy.
  • A flexible, innovative approach to problem-solving.
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
