Contracts Supervisor – Water Industry
Location: Kettering-based with UK-wide travel
Are you an experienced site supervisor looking to take the lead on specialist projects within the UK water industry? We’re recruiting for a Contracts Supervisor to join a well-established contracting division that has been operating for over 35 years.
This role offers the chance to combine hands-on site supervision with planning, preparation, and project delivery, working closely with an expert team to ensure contracts are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
When not on-site, you’ll be based at the company’s Kettering head office, supporting the wider team with project planning, technical input, and administration. You’ll also represent the business on-site, managing squads and overseeing works across clean and wastewater facilities nationwide.
What you’ll be doing:

Leading and supervising on-site teams to deliver filter refurbishment and related projects across potable and wastewater sites

Liaising with departments before, during, and after contracts to ensure smooth delivery

Providing technical assistance and problem-solving to maintain innovative working methods

Managing compliance with QA/QC and health & safety requirements

Preparing and completing relevant documentation and reports

Travelling to sites across the UK (including occasional weekend work)
What we’re looking for:

At least 2 years’ supervisory experience in the UK water industry

Previous experience managing teams on-site

CSCS card (essential) and ideally an EUSR Water Hygiene Card

Confined space entry experience (CSE/BA certificate preferred)

Full UK driving licence (trailer licence desirable)

First Aid at Work certification (preferred)

Experience operating plant equipment (valid licences desirable)
