- Preparing and conditioning furniture products for testing
- Conducting physical testing of mattresses, cabinets, tables, and seating to UK, European, and international standards
- Collaborating with team members to move and set up furniture samples
- Working closely with customers to plan testing schedules and build strong relationships
- Maintaining lab cleanliness and detailed training records
- Hosting customer visits and supporting inspections on-site
- GCSEs in Maths, English & Science (minimum Grade C / 5)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
- A proactive, flexible attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Experience in furniture or consumer product testing
- Mechanical engineering qualifications
- Previous experience in the furniture industry
- Salary up to £26,000
