MMP Consultancy are seeking a Capital Investment Manager for a housing organisation in Northamptonshire. This role is paying 500 per day inside IR35.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale housing or property investment programmes.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop multidisciplinary teams.
  • Robust project management and procurement expertise
  • Financial acumen with experience in budget forecasting, financial analysis, and risk management
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with stakeholders, contractors, and team members
  • Technical expertise in stock condition surveys, cyclical programs, and adaptations
  • Strong knowledge of property maintenance legislation including Landlord and Tenant Act 1985, Housing Act 2004, and Decent Homes Standard.


Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience working within local government or similar public sector environments
  • Certification in project management, health and safety, or related fields
  • Background in asset management strategies or bidding for external funding
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations specific to housing and property management


Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Construction Management, Property Development, Urban Planning, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years leading property investment or maintenance teams, ideally within a housing or public sector context
  • Demonstrated success in managing multi-million-pound projects and contracts


Other Requirements:

  • Ability to travel between depots and various project sites as needed
  • Commitment to health and safety protocols and legislative compliance
  • Valid driving license preferred`
