The basics:
Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Industry: Manufacturing
Hours: Days - Monday to Friday - flex - approx. example 8am to 4pm
Location: Kettering
Pay: up to 50000 + call out paid at 40 per call out and at x1.5 overtime rates (call out on a rota basis and shared) = earnings of 55000 and upwards achievable
Holidays: 27 + 8 bank holidays.
Pension: Company pay 5% pension contribution.
Overview:
Working in a first-class, modern, purpose-built manufacturing facility; we now require a Maintenance Engineer to join the electrical team.
Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:
- To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
- Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
- PPM's
The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- Time served apprentice trained or above
- Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar
- An electrical certification
Commutable from: Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough and surrounding areas.
