Jenrick are working exclusively with a Northamptonshire-based manufacturing company to recruit a Lead Maintenance Engineer to join their growing in-house team.

Working within this 24/7 production environment and reporting to the Production Director, your role will involve:

  • Keeping the machines running to meet production requirements
  • Leading pre-planned and reactive maintenance and repairs
  • Project management to include relocating machines internally, supporting the introduction of new products onto machines, and the installing & commissioning of new machinery
  • Liaising with external suppliers for machine upgrades, spare parts, servicing and staff training (in-house and external from machinery manufacturers)

We are keen to find someone who is used to developing procedures and taking a business on a journey towards a more pre-planned approach to maintenance, condition monitoring, and understand, analyse and interpret sensor data from the machines.

Working hours Mon-Fri (some flexibility over start-finish times) and also join the callout rota to deal with breakdowns, so a full driving licence and availability to come into their Kettering site on rare occasions is required.

This family-run business still retains a great feel, not a corporate work environment, and they are continuing to invest in new technologies and equipment. including £1m+ on 3 new production machines.

This newly-created role presents a fantastic opportunity to make your mark within an established business, with future career progression.
