Housing Options Advisor

We are working in partnership with a Local Authority in the Kettering area who are looking to appoint a Housing Options Advisor to work within their Homelessness Service.

As a Housing Options Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for individuals and families facing housing difficulties. You'll provide high-quality advice on housing rights, options, and homelessness prevention in line with the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored housing advice to prevent homelessness.
  • Assess housing needs under the Housing Act 1996 (as amended).
  • Create and manage Personalised Housing Plans.
  • Liaise with landlords, housing associations, and support services.
  • Maintain accurate records and casework using case management systems.
