Role Overview

We are recruiting a skilled and enthusiastic Digital Job Coach – Social Care to lead our Digital strand of social enterprises. You will empower our service users in delivering services such as A4 printing, PAT testing, laser cutting, and digital production tasks — all within a supported enterprise setting.

This is a hands-on role across three sites, combining coaching, quality assurance, stock management, and customer fulfilment. You’ll model inclusive working practices and help our service users build valuable skills and confidence.

The position reports into The Head of Development.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Job Coach – Social Care - Coaching

  • Deliver enterprise sessions with service users focused on digital services.
  • Guide users through print, tech-based, and laser production tasks.
  • Fulfil customer orders with a focus on quality and timeliness.

Stock & Product Management

  • Maintain and monitor digital product stock levels.
  • Uphold quality control systems and product standards.

Service User Journey

  • Collaborate on co-production and person-centred planning.
  • Facilitate 1:1 and small group learning and development.
  • Ensure safe practice, signage, and structured delivery at all sites.

Collaboration

  • Partner with the Retail Job Coach – Social Care to optimise impact and consistency.
  • Build positive relationships with stakeholders, teams, and the community.

Person Specification

Experience & Qualifications

Essential:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a digital/social business or similar.
  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.

(We will consider applicants without experience of working with autistic adults or people with learning disabilities. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate their desire to learn, attend training and provide details about their motivation)  

  • Familiarity with printing, PAT testing, or laser cutting.
  • Strong computer literacy and digital skills.
  • Level 2 Maths and English or equivalent.

Desirable:

  • Qualifications in coaching, adult care, or autism support.
  • Experience in stock control and quality systems.
  • Hobbies or volunteer work in digital production fields.

  • Clear communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Organised, adaptable, and collaborative.
  • Proficient in data handling and planning across multiple sites.
