Description
- Conducting detailed surveys on void properties
- Preparing and presenting reports on each survey
- Liaising with contractors to coordinate refurbishments
- Ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard and within budget
- Monitoring and tracking project progress
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Updating and maintaining records accurately
- Contributing to team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
Profile
A successful Voids Surveyor should have:
- Relevant qualifications in Surveying or Construction
- Experience in the public sector, particularly in council work
- Strong knowledge of construction regulations and health and safety requirements
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills
- Proficient use of relevant software and tools
- Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
