Transport Administrator
We are looking for a strong Transport Administrator to join our rapidly growing client who will ensure an effective and efficient transport function. We are looking for someone who can prioritise objectives and schedules work to make best use of time and resources. You will be expected to fulfil the requirements of all customers and ensure this is completed in a cost-effective manner ensuring that all administrative processes are highly accurate.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Transport Planner with administrative needs.
- Act as a first point of contact for customers responding to all telephone and email queries.
- Ensure that all transport queries are handled in a professional and efficient manner.
- Liaise with customers, drivers and other departments.
- Ensuring a high level of accuracy when creating jobs on the internal system.
Requirements:
- Proven Administrative experience
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Packages and Transport Systems
- Experience working within a Transport Office Environment
- Good local and national geographical knowledge
- High attention to detail is a must
The Transport Administrator is a permanent opportunity working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am-6pm. The annual salary is circa of 30k depending on experience.
