What You’ll Be Doing- Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on aluminium die casting machines and CNC machinery (metal components).
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults, including transformers, motors, sensors, relays, and inverters.
- PLC fault finding – read inputs/outputs and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and facility electrical maintenance.
- Occasional robotics maintenance.
- Electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
- Strong electrical bias with proven experience in industrial maintenance.
- PLC fault finding skills (inputs/outputs).
- CNC machine maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
- PLC programming experience.
- Robotics maintenance exposure.
- Salary: Up to ÂŁ44,000 DOE.
- Shifts: Double Days
- Week A: Mon–Thurs 6:00–14:00, Fri 6:00–13:15
- Week B: Mon–Thurs 13:30–21:30, Fri 12:30–19:00
- Overtime: Time and a half on Saturdays, double time on Sundays.
