HSE Recruitment are working with a manufacturing company in Kidderminster who are looking for a Health Safety and Environment Advisor.Reporting into the Group Head of Compliance and into the site MD, you will form part of a wider team of 4. You will have full responsibility for a small high risk manufacturing site. That daily visible presence is essential to managing safety on site- you will have to stand your ground and push back but it’s a balance of knowing when this stance is needed. It will be a really varied role, always out on site, doing walk arounds, compliance checks, toolbox talks, working through actions on the system.What makes this an interesting opportunity?
  1. You are in charge of a single site but the plan is to work with other HSE officers to split sites eventually. The other site is a larger site which offers growth and variety.

What we are looking for:
  • Someone comfortable and happy out on the shop floor, visibility is essential
  • Driven, self-motivated, good team player and work ethic – someone who cares
  • Good communicator
  • IT Savvy
  • NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum
  • Environmental permitting and ISO systems experience would be advantageous.
  • Manufacturing or some high risk, engineering related field would be advantageous but not necessary, attitude and fit is much more important
