About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our students' academic, emotional and social development. Working closely with teachers and other professionals, you will help deliver a rich, engaging curriculum tailored to individual needs.
Your duties will include:
- Supporting students with learning, behaviour and care needs
- Helping to create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
- Encouraging independence, resilience and self-esteem in pupils
- Assisting in delivering tailored lessons and activities
- Promoting high standards of behaviour and safeguarding at all times

What The School Are Looking For
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) - essential
- Working towards or holding a Level 2 qualification in supporting teaching/learning - desirable
- Some experience working with students with SEMH needs or additional challenges
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Positive, flexible and child-centred approach
- Full UK driving licence - required
