Lead Warehouse Supervisor

We are looking to recruit the above role to be based in Kidderminster on a permanent and full-time basis

Overall purpose of job:

To plan and carry out warehouse activities, To support the Operations Manager to store, cut and dispatch orders in accordance with agreed business plans.

Responsible for supporting the Operations Manager in meeting all warehousing and dispatching requirements within budgeted cost.

Reporting to: The operations Manager

Main Duties include:

  • Co-ordinate cutting board activities using the system.
  • Print Despatch paperwork.
  • Liaise with other departments/managers as necessary (Purchasing,
  • Sales, Transport, etc.0 to solve any issues.
  • To Manage and lead the warehouse shift teams
  • Lead a culture that is focused on maintaining and improving Health and Safety standards across the operation.
  • To manage stock, this includes responsible for stock taking and reconciliation. Responsible for incoming and outgoing goods.������

The successful candidate will meet all or most of the following skills and capabilities:

  • Good verbal & written communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure when meeting tight deadlines.
  • Confidential and trustworthy.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Demonstrate ability to make decisions.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Knowledge of carpet handling & warehousing preferred, but not necessary.
  • Understanding of HGV loading
  • Good attention to detail.

You will need to have a flexible approach to your daily work load, be reliable and have a flexible attitude towards working hours, Including occasional out of hours stock taking duties.

You will need to be self-motivated
