Teaching Assistant - Specialist School (Autism & SEMH)
Location: Hartlebury, Kidderminster
Salary: Up to 24,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Term Time Only

We are a specialist education provider supporting children and young people aged 5-19 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support our student's learning and well-being. The role involves assisting in classroom activities, promoting positive behaviour, and providing individualised support to students with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored educational activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
- Support students during school activities and outings.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
Requirements:
- Experience working in a school environment, preferably with secondary-aged students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning).
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable:
- Experience supporting students with ASC and SEMH needs.
- Familiarity with strategies to support students with diverse learning needs.
