We are currently recruiting for a Welder Fabricator role for our client based in the Kidderminster area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist skilled welders in fabrication and assembly tasks.
- Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Develop skills in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick.
- Maintain and operate welding equipment and tools safely.
- Ensure quality and precision in all work produced.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Take part in ongoing training and development to expand your skill set.
Requirements:
- A keen interest in welding and fabrication.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is beneficial, but not essential.
- Ability to work well within a team and independently.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
Hours of work:
Monday - Thursday 8am - 4:30pm.
Friday 8am - 3:30pm.
Overtime available.
Rate of Pay:
£13 to 13.50 per hour depending on experience.
Overtime at 1.5.
