About the JobThis is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial accounting, statutory compliance, and group reporting. As the Group Financial Controller, you will report directly to the CFO and take ownership of financial controls, audit coordination, and team management across the finance function..
Duties will include:

Delivering timely and accurate statutory and management reporting in compliance with financial reporting standards.

Ensuring tax compliance across the group, including oversight of intra-group arrangements.

Leading and managing the Financial Accounting team, covering reporting, tax, treasury, and transactional finance.

Coordinating the production and audit of UK statutory accounts and reviewing overseas submissions.

Supporting financial planning activities and ensuring consistent application of accounting policies globally.

Managing the budgeting process related to staffing and overheads.

Providing robust cashflow management and forecasting oversight.

Delivering insightful monthly reports to aid strategic decision-making by the Board and Senior Leadership Team.
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) with extensive experience in both financial and management accounting, ideally gained in a multi-entity environment. A proven leader, you will possess strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with proficiency in financial systems. A hands-on, team-oriented approach combined with the ability to operate strategically is essential.
