About the Job

As Group Financial Accountant, you’ll join the Group Finance team to support business operations during a period of integration and change following recent acquisitions. This role is pivotal in enhancing the financial control environment, supporting audit processes, and ensuring accurate and timely statutory reporting across multiple business pillars.

Duties will include:

  • Coordinating and producing group statutory accounts in collaboration with pillar finance teams
  • Acting as the main point of contact for both internal and external auditors, managing audit timelines and support
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of a robust internal control framework
  • Delivering technical accounting expertise, particularly in FRS102 compliance
  • Overseeing regulatory reporting to ensure timely and accurate submissions
  • Leading initiatives to drive best practice and continuous improvements across the finance function

About the Successful Applicant

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with at least 2 years’ PQE and strong technical accounting knowledge, especially around FRS102. You’ll be analytically minded, able to translate data into meaningful insights, and adept at stakeholder management across various levels. A proactive, resilient, and adaptable individual with experience managing audits and financial reporting in a complex group environment will thrive in this role.
