Our client, a family-run business whom have grown to over 300 FTE and been established for over 30 years, are looking to recruit an experienced, personable Sales/Business Development Manager to join their successful operation. Working for an amazing Head of Sales (who we placed last year!) and working within a small team of 5 FTE to meet and exceed new business sales targets, this is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate! Our client are a Fresh Food Contract Caterer, and service a wide range of both corporate and Public Sector clients across Oxfordshire/Midlands/South. Combining fresh, bespoke food with an incredible service, our client have grown extensively since their inception in the late 80's, and are continuing to evolve. Due to their need for growth, they are actively seeking the perfect candidate to generate and close new business opportunities for them. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include: - Identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities across Independent Schools / Business & Industry / Care Homes, etc- Managing the full sales process from lead generation/qualification to proposal/presentation/contract award - Contributing to tender submissions in collaboration with the Bid Writing team, and supporting broader strategic sales initiatives as directed by the Head of Sales- Developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of prospective clients- Leading the preparation of tailored sales proposals and tender documents- Liaising with internal departments (Operations / Marketing / Sales) to ensure accurate and aligned messaging- Representing the company at relevant industry events and networking opportunities- Providing mentoring / guidance to junior team members as requiredIn order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following: - Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a Sales/Business Development role within a Services/Solutions environment (an intangible service, not a product) - industry experience obviously a plus, but absolutely not essential! - Understanding of the Bids/Tender process- Proven track record of securing new business and achieving sales targets- Confidence in presenting to stakeholders at various levels- Excellent written/verbal communication skills- Experience of pitching/presenting to close business- Articulate, credible demeanour- Fun, sociable personality- Full, clean UK driving licence *although not essential, any B2B Sales candidates with a contact list of Facilities Managers are advised to apply!*In addition to a very competitive basic salary of £55,000 - £60,000, our client are also offering the following: - Company Car (full business travel expensed)- Uncapped commission structure (realistic Year One OTE: £75,000)- Amazing progression opportunities- Free parking at the office The role will be office-based, with the expectation that you will likely be on the road meeting/pitching to clients 1/2 days a week.
