Senior Electrical Engineer - Bicester

Excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to step into a Senior position, and play a key part in in the growth of an expanding M&E team within an International, Engineering and Design Consultancy.

Location: Bicester

Salary: £40,000 - 60,000 + Package Benefits

Job Description:

The Resolute Group is working in partnership with an International, Engineering and Design Consultancy to assist with expanding their M&E Team who focus on Data Centre Projects.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Lead Engineer and project teams to develop electronic designs for data center construction projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements and specifications.
Develop detailed diagrams of electrical installations and coordinate with other disciplines to allocate initial space reservations for equipment and infrastructure.
Utilize 3D Revit/BIM software to model electrical installations based on diagrams and coordinated space reservations, ensuring accuracy and compatibility with other building systems.
Address any design challenges or modifications during the construction phase, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to project timelines
Actively participate in design reviews and project meetings, providing input and feedback to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of electrical systems.
Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations related to electrical engineering and data center construction, incorporating best practices into project designs and processes.
Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, to support the construction and commissioning of electrical systems.
Demonstrate a commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability in all aspects of electrical engineering design and construction.

Experience:

A Bachelor and/or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering
Ideally 2-3 years relevant work experience within the construction industry
Experience with Revit / CAD software
