Description

The Assistant Finance Manager will:

  • Ensuring that the processes for purchase ledger operate efficiently and accurately
  • Advising to improve the efficiency and production of financial forecasts
  • Assisting in monitoring budgets ensuring expenditure is controlled in accordance with the budget, procedures, levels of delegated authority and financial control/audit requirements
  • Supporting in creating an annual budget, including direct, indirect costs and overheads
  • Ensuring quarterly VAT return is completed accurately and on time
  • Ensuring monthly bank reconciliations are completed accurately and on time
  • Line Management of the 2 staff members

Profile

The Assistant Finance Manager will be/have:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Ideally experience of line management
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience of working with internal and external partners
  • Computer literate and experience using Financial system/s
  • Immediately available
