The Individual Giving Fundraiser is a new role for this super charity based in the Oxfordshire area.

You will be primarily responsible for developing, marketing and managing individual giving together with working across other fundraising disciplines.

You will be a key member of the fundraising team, producing compelling fundraising communications, stewarding individual donors, including regular donors and gifts in memory.

Description

The Individual Giving Fundraiser will be responsible for:

  • Day-to-day management of the regular giving programme, project managing appeals and overseeing the thanking process for individual donors
  • Create, plan, deliver and evaluate multi-channel, compliant, insight-led, supporter-centric campaigns to engage and drive action from new and existing supporters.
  • Manage the newly appointed fundraising agency
  • Review and develop operational plans for individual giving
  • Communicate and document key performance indicators across individual giving appeals
  • Work with the fundraising agency and communications team to produce and edit appropriate collateral.
  • Devise and deliver supporter communications, including stewardship activity, welcome journey content and appeal communications
  • Take part and contribute to team meetings
  • Liaise with volunteers, clients, contractors and other stakeholders
  • Promote the work of the Charity, assisting with demonstrations and in fundraising and awareness events

Profile

The Individual Giving Fundraiser will have the following experience:

  • Planning, delivering and managing individual giving programmes
  • Marketing or direct marketing or marketing qualification
  • Experience of using direct marketing methods to recruit, retain and develop supporters
  • Project Management experience
  • Delivering donor recruitment and retention projects from initiation to completion
  • Proven track record of meeting targets
  • Building relationships and maximising engagement with donors and supporters
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to record accurate data and work with a CRM system
  • Self-motivated and confident in working, both independently and in teams
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise workload and plan-ahead.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office
  • Experience within the Charity sector is desirable

Job Offer

The Individual Giving Fundraiser role offers hybrid working with 2 days in the office in Oxfordshire and 3 days working from home.

£34,000 + 28 days holiday (plus bank holidays) + pension
