JGA are seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to join an educational organisation. This is a key strategic role within a supportive, values-led team.
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Lead on casework including grievances, disciplinaries, restructures, and performance issues
- Provide professional advice on complex HR matters to school leadership teams
- Collaborate with central HR team to ensure policy alignment
- Offer day-to-day HR guidance and support to staff across the organisation
- Generalist HR & Employee Relations
- Absence Management
- Recruitment & Selection
- Safer Recruitment & Compliance
- Induction & Probation
- HR Records & Payroll
Line Management - Census & Reporting
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within education or a similarly complex setting
- Strong understanding of employment law, safeguarding and best practice HR
- Confident in managing employee relations and advising senior leaders
- Experience of line management and leading process improvements
- CIPD qualification or working towards (desirable)
