HR Operations Manager – Education Sector
Location -  Oxford
Hybrid – 1 day a week in office (Oxfordshire area)

JGA are seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to join an educational organisation. This is a key strategic role within a supportive, values-led team.

Key Responsibilities 
  • Lead on casework including grievances, disciplinaries, restructures, and performance issues
  • Provide professional advice on complex HR matters to school leadership teams
  • Collaborate with central HR team to ensure policy alignment
  • Offer day-to-day HR guidance and support to staff across the organisation

  • Safer Recruitment & Compliance
  • Induction & Probation
  • HR Records & Payroll
    Line Management
  • Census & Reporting
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within education or a similarly complex setting
  • Strong understanding of employment law, safeguarding and best practice HR
  • Confident in managing employee relations and advising senior leaders
  • Experience of line management and leading process improvements
  • CIPD qualification or working towards (desirable)
