Description
The Successful IT Helpdesk Technician will:
- Respond to IT issues; hardware maintenance, software, networking, etc.
- Install and configure new IT equipment.
- Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices.
- Check computer hardware to ensure functionality.
- Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications.
- Maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance.
- Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems.
Profile
A successful IT Help desk Technician should have:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
- Expertise in IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
- Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Brilliant problem solver
- Skilled in active directory, Windows 10/11, Office 365 and Basic Networking
