Description

The Successful IT Helpdesk Technician will:

  • Respond to IT issues; hardware maintenance, software, networking, etc.
  • Install and configure new IT equipment.
  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices.
  • Check computer hardware to ensure functionality.
  • Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications.
  • Maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance.
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems.

Profile

A successful IT Help desk Technician should have:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
  • Expertise in IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
  • Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Brilliant problem solver
  • Skilled in active directory, Windows 10/11, Office 365 and Basic Networking
