Senior Town Planner - Oxfordshire - £Competitive

Are you a skilled and ambitious Town Planner looking to step into a senior role? Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing planning consultancy, is seeking a Senior Town Planner to join their expert team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of high-profile projects and be a key player in the firm's continued success.

The Role: As a Senior Town Planner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality planning services to a wide range of clients across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. Your role will include:

  • Managing and delivering complex planning applications, appeals, and reports
  • Providing expert planning advice to clients, guiding them through the planning process
  • Leading on client meetings, consultations, and negotiations with local authorities
  • Overseeing junior members of the team, providing mentorship and support
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business development

Key Requirements:

  • Chartered membership of the RTPI (or close to chartership)
  • Proven experience in a town planning role, ideally within a consultancy or local authority
  • Strong knowledge of UK planning regulations and procedures
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
