?? The Role:This position will play a key role in delivering efficient, accurate bookkeeping services and supporting clients with digital tax compliance. Responsibilities include:* Preparing VAT returns and financial accounts* Assisting with payroll and PAYE* Processing digital tax submissions (Making Tax Digital - MTD)* Handling purchase invoices, credit notes, and ledgers* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies* Managing payment runs in line with company policies* Supporting general finance admin tasks and liaising with clients

The Ideal Candidate Will Be:* Experienced in bookkeeping, accountancy, and taxation* Confident using Xero and Sage* Familiar with Making Tax Digital (MTD) processes* Comfortable supporting payroll* Ideally experienced in accountancy practice (not essential)* A team player who enjoys a supportive, sociable work culture* Loyal, trustworthy, and committed to building long-term professional relationships* A background in agriculture is desirable but not required
