Key Responsibilities:
- Perform exterior train body repairs, including welding, rust removal, dent repairs, and panel replacement
- Overhaul interiors: floors, seating, ceilings, partitions
- Inspect, identify, and repair corrosion and structural damage
- Complete full carriage refurbishments to strict engineering and safety standards
- Operate power tools and pneumatic tools for high-precision repair work
- Ensure work meets rail safety regulations and quality specifications
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality, on-time projects
Requirements:
- Time-served Coach Builder or equivalent certified qualification
- Skilled in metalwork, fabrication, and panel repairs
