Location: Kilmarnock, Ayrshire

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE

About the Role:

Glenelly Infrastructure Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Streetworks Coordinator to join our

Power & Civils Distribution business based in Kilmarnock.

This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and compliant execution of all streetworks activities across our contracts. You will be responsible for preparation, submission, and updating of noticing in compliance with current legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

Permit Management: Assess, review, and process streetworks notice applications from internal teams, ensuring compliance with the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA)/ Code of Practice for the

Co-ordination of Works in Roads.

Coordination: Plan and coordinate works, resolving conflicts to meet client delivery timescales.

Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including statutory undertakers, contractors and the public.

Inspections and Compliance: Monitor and inspect streetworks to ensure they are carried out according to agreed conditions and legislative requirements. Including defects or remedial works for non-compliance.

Reporting and Data Management: Maintain accurate records of all works, including progress, inspections, and enforcement actions. Utilise back-office IT systems such as SRWR and GIS databases.

Customer Service: Investigate and respond to customer complaints and inquiries related to street works in a timely and professional manner.

Manager Support: The role will be expected to deputise for the Streetworks manager role as required.

Required Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in a street works environment, demonstrating a sound knowledge of the industry.

Detailed understanding of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA) and other relevant legislation.

Experience with local authority permit schemes and associated software (e.g. Aurora/ SRWR).

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

High level of computer literacy and proficiency with standard office software.

Desirable Skills:

NRSWA qualification.

Experience in a supervisory or team-leader role.
