Estimator

My client is a highly respected engineering business that has been established for over 50 years. Because of an internal reorganisation they are looking for an estimator to join their team. The company has ambitious plans for growth and this offers an excellent springboard for an ambitious individual to join their company.

They are looking for somebody with a fabrication background with the ability to undertake a variety of duties, these will include the preparation of tenders with the engineering department, working with team members on deliverables (timelines etc). Liaison with suppliers and sub contractors ensuring that tenders and quotes are both accurate and at the correct margin. Candidates should have a good knowledge of engineering, with a close attention to detail as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work under tight deadlines. Candidates from a project managment background will be considered for this role
