Connect Appointments are seeking an experienced Project Manager, within the Engineering sector, to join and strengthen our client's existing team in Kilmarnock.

What's on offer?

  • A permanent position
  • Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week (with an early finish on Friday)
  • £40,000 to £45,000 per annum (DOE)

Working as a Project Manager you will be involved in the decommissioning of wheelshop machinery, with your duties including, but not limited to:

  • Liaising with stakeholders to ensure the project is competed to their satisfaction
  • Managing, supervising and planning work execution for Projects and new developments
  • Providing resolution for problems
  • Maintaining Projects schedules and reporting on status

To be successful within this role as a Project Manager you will have previous experience of working on decommissioning projects in an industrial/manufacturing setting, combined with the following skills and traits:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • In possession of relevant project management qualifications (preferred, but not essential)
  • Problem solving skills
  • Being commercially aware
