Position Summary:* Overhaul, maintenance, examination and repair of rail vehicles and rolling stock* Stripping and building safety critical components in accordance with technical drawings* Fault finding and repair on mechanical components - e.g. bogies, brake actuators, axles etc.* Door gear removal, overhaul, refit and testPerson Profile:* Experience within an engineering background, ideally within rail/heavy vehicle maintenance * Ideally have an NVQ level 3 within engineering * Ideally have mechanical modification experience on rail vehicles / rolling stock maintenance experience PLEASE NOTE ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PASS AN DRUGS AND ALCOHOL TEST BEFORE BEING OFFERED A POSITION (this is standard procedure on Rail depots)Please note due to the volume of applications, we can only commit to contact those candidates we deem suitable for the position.
