The Paint Prepper will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying masking materials.Duties* Clean and prepare surfaces for painting by removing dirt, grease, and old paint* Sand surfaces to smooth out imperfections* Apply masking tape and protective covers to areas not being painted* Demasking all vehicles once the paint work has been completed* Detailed filler work with capability to follow correct procedures* Assist with paint application when necessarySkills* Minimum 1 year experience in similar role* Good eye for detail* Good level of English* Proficiency in using hand tools for sanding and cleaning* Ability to lift heavy objects when required* Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance* Familiarity with power tools for surface preparationBenefitsAs well as a highly competitive salary you will also benefit from our comprehensive benefits package which includes EAP, Private medical insurance, contributory pension scheme and other employee benefits
