The Role

The company is currently hiring a Spray Painter to join their well-established engineering firm based in the Kilmarnock area.

This role operates on a rotating shift schedule—two weeks on day shift followed by two weeks on night shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply 2K Paint Systems: Perform high-quality spray painting using 2K paints and ensure proper surface preparation with suitable materials.
  • Surface Preparation: Utilize body fillers and orbital sanders to prepare surfaces to the required standard.
  • Documentation & Deadlines: Follow detailed work instructions, complete all necessary documentation, and adhere to project timelines.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with a dedicated and skilled team to consistently achieve high-quality finishes.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Fully Qualified Spray Painter: Completed relevant training with time-served experience in the trade.
  • Industry Experience: Proven background in automotive or commercial vehicle spray painting.
