Process/Project Engineer

Full-time | Permanent | Flexible Working

We're hiring for a Process/Project Engineer to join a busy and growing engineering and manufacturing site where investment and improvement projects are a key focus. You'll take the lead on a range of capital projects, from concept through to handover, making sure everything is delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

This is a hands-on role that needs someone confident working with a range of teams from production and maintenance to HSE, finance, and suppliers. You'll be responsible for scoping and planning the work, managing budgets, coordinating contractors, and keeping everything moving in the right direction.

The role would suit someone with a process or project engineering background who enjoys solving technical problems and seeing projects through from start to finish.

What we're looking for

  • Background in process or project engineering within a highly regulated manufacturing environment (chemical or mechanical engineering background)
  • Comfortable managing contractors and coordinating project teams
  • Knowledge of handling equipment, utilities, and plant systems
  • Experience working with P&IDs would be very advantageous
  • Good understanding of engineering standards, risk assessments and compliance
  • Health & Safety qualification preferred
  • Engineering degree or equivalent hands-on experience
