SEN Teacher - Gorton:
We are currently seeking an experienced, qualified SEN teacher to join a large provision in the Gorton area ASAP. The school supports pupils aged between 11-19 with complex needs.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience teaching within a SEN school and hold qualified teacher status (QTS).
The Role:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to pupils with diverse needs
- Contributing to a safe and engaging learning environment
- Working collaboratively with other staff members and external agencies
- Supporting EHCP implementation and progress reviews
Position Details:
- Position: SEN Teacher
- Location: Gorton
- Type of Work: Temporary/Temp to Perm
- Full time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: 200 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this position
- Previous experience teaching within SEN
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
