Welders Responsibilities:

Perform 135 MAG semi-automatic welding in compliance with BS EN 287 standards, along with MIG welding techniques
Conduct welding on aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel components ranging from 2mm to 25mm in thickness, including corrosion repairs on train body shells
Prepare materials for welding through the use of various hand tools, including grinding and buffing equipment
Complete precision welds based on specific technical drawings, including fabrication of brackets, structural beams, joints, and sole bars
Contribute to infrastructure development and construction across dedicated project assignments
Qualify in CSWIP welding inspection, ensuring weld quality and adherence to specifications
Collaborate within a team environment, ensuring all required documentation and procedural instructions were accurately followed and completed
Actively support and upheld the company’s values by fostering positive working relationships with colleagues, clients, and external partners
Adhere strictly to internal policies and procedures as outlined in the company’s Employee Handbook

Welders Requirements:

Ideally come from an engineering / commercial environment
Must be time served with the relevant qualifications from accredited bodies.
Good attention to detail – able to identify issues and find ways to rectify them
