Responsibilities:

  • Carry out production tasks efficiently and accurately to meet production targets.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure all production materials and equipment are prepared and ready for use.
  • Monitor and inspect product quality to maintain high standards.
  • Assist with product packaging and labelling as required.
  • Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot production issues and implement improvements.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the production process.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and maintain clean and organised work areas.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations at all times.
  • Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials and products.
  • Conduct daily safety checks on forklift equipment and report any issues promptly.
  • Ensure materials are stored and transported in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Support the production and warehouse teams by transporting goods as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movement and forklift usage when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role but not essential.
  • Must have FLT Counterbalance in date certificate.
  • Ability to follow instructions and operate machinery safely.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Able to handle manual tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills.
