We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and prestigious manufacturing company based in Kings Lynn. Due to their continued success and development, they are looking to employ an Electrical Mechanical Technician to start asap.

Hours will Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm

Purpose of the role:

Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems across our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that all equipment operates at

peak efficiency to meet production goals and comply with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime.

Replace or repair faulty components, such as wiring, bearings, belts, or control systems.

Installation & Upgrades:

Assist in the implementation of system upgrades and improvements to enhance productivity.

Respond promptly to equipment failures during assigned shifts to minimize production disruptions.

Work closely with production teams to identify and resolve operational issues.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

Report any recurring issues or potential improvements to the supervisor or engineering team.

Follow company safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment adheres to safety regulations.

Prioritise and complete work from CMMS system.

Qualifications required for the role.

Education & Experience:

Associate degree or certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Technology

(Or equivalent experience).

18th Edition desirable

2+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferable.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

Knowledge of PLC programming, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.

Experience with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and computerized maintenance

management systems (CMMS).

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment, including standing, bending,

and lifting (up to 50 lbs).

Comfortable working in varying conditions (heat, noise, and confined spaces)
