This is a 6-month fixed-term contract based in King's Lynn, offering a competitive salary of £57,745 (pro-rata) and a hybrid working model (minimum 3 days per week onsite). The Role:

As the HR Business Partner - HRIS Implementation, you'll lead an operational HR team to deliver a forward-thinking people service, with a sharp focus on rolling out and optimising HR systems, streamlining processes, and supporting transformational change. You'll partner with leaders to embed modern HR practices, champion colleague engagement, and navigate complex initiatives like system upgrades or structural reorganisations with confidence and skill.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead HRIS implementation and optimisation projects, ensuring seamless delivery, user adoption, and alignment with business goals-think reduced admin, robust data, and actionable insights.
  • Inspire and guide the HR team to blend proactive strategies with responsive support, leveraging technology to enhance service delivery.
  • Drive transformation initiatives, from system rollouts to organisational restructures, with a strategic mindset and strong stakeholder management.
  • Empower colleagues with intuitive self-service tools and top-tier HR support, enhancing the employee experience from recruitment to offboarding.
  • Foster a learning and performance culture, embedding innovative training solutions and a two-way feedback process.
  • Provide expert HR guidance to leaders on policy, employment law, and complex cases, while managing union relationships and external advisors.
  • Contribute insights to pay, reward, and benefits strategies, using data and trends to inform decisions.
  • Monitor KPIs, demand data, and HR trends to propose enhancements that elevate service quality and colleague satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience leading HRIS implementations (e.g., system selection, configuration, or rollout) and driving tech-enabled HR transformations.
  • Strong track record in change management-think organisational restructures, process overhauls, or system launches-delivered with strategic impact.
  • Deep knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and innovative approaches, with the ability to advise and coach at all levels.
  • Chartered CIPD membership (or equivalent experience) and experience leading and motivating a team.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills, paired with budget management and risk mitigation know-how.
  • A pragmatic, curious mindset-resilient, tech-savvy, and eager to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable:
  • Experience in a regulated or people-centric sector.
  • Familiarity with developing EDI (equality, diversity, and inclusion) initiatives.
