The Role
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join our dynamic Dispute Resolution team. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters, providing clear, pragmatic advice to individuals and businesses. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and commercially minded solicitor to play a key role in the continued growth of their contentious practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a broad caseload including contractual disputes, property litigation, debt recovery, professional negligence, and shareholder or partnership disputes.
- Advising clients on dispute resolution strategies, including negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation.
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, correspondence, and other key litigation documents.
- Attending court hearings, mediations, and client meetings as required.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent service and communication.
- Supporting the firm's business development initiatives, including networking, marketing, and client events.
- Supervising or mentoring junior team members where appropriate.
About You
- A qualified Solicitor (minimum 1 years' PQE) with solid experience in general civil and/or commercial litigation.
- Strong technical knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and dispute resolution processes.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- A proactive and solution-oriented approach, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
- A team player who is also confident working independently.
- Commercially astute, with a genuine interest in business development and client care.
