The Role :

We are seeking a committed and compassionate SEMH Primary Teacher for a long-term position at a specialist provision in King's Lynn. This role offers the chance to work closely with children who need emotional and behavioural support in order to thrive academically and socially.

Your Responsibilities
  • Deliver tailored lessons that engage and support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Create a structured and nurturing classroom environment that promotes emotional regulation and learning
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, using trauma-informed and restorative practices
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals to implement personalised support plans
  • Monitor and assess pupils' progress, adapting your approach to meet individual needs
  • Play an active role in the wider school community and support the school's inclusive ethos
What We're Looking For
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • DBS on the update service
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
  • Proven experience working with children with SEMH or behavioural needs
  • Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, consistent teaching style
  • Ability to inspire trust, build rapport, and maintain clear boundaries
  • A genuine passion for inclusive education and helping every child achieve their full potential
