We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join their Children's Disabilities Service in King's Lynn. Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (38 hours per week)
Salary: 拢24,206 - 拢24,601 per annum (depending on qualifications)
Additional Pay: 2 sleep-ins per month, paid at 拢64.95 per sleep-in
Shifts: 8-hour shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays on a rota basis

Main Responsibilities
路Develop and maintain positive working relationships with professionals, parents, family members, and school staff.
路Support children and young people in accessing developmental opportunities tailored to their needs.
路Safeguard the health, wellbeing, and development of children and young people, both inside and outside the home.
路Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive home environment, sensitive to dietary, cultural, and religious needs.
路Involve children and young people in decisions around daily routines and activities, empowering them to take responsibility where appropriate.
路Encourage and promote individual hobbies, interests, and activities.
路Implement management decisions positively, ensuring children and young people feel supported and empowered.
路Ensure smooth transitions through key stages such as referral, admission, and transition, aligned with care plans.
路Comply with statutory and legislative requirements and contribute to the creation, implementation, and monitoring of individual care plans.
路Follow health and safety training and policies, reporting hazards or risks promptly.
路Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by line management.
What We're Looking For
路A caring, resilient, and reliable individual committed to supporting children and young people with disabilities.
路Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
路Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
路Flexibility to work on a rota, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
路Experience in a care or support role (desirable but not essential).
路Relevant qualifications in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards them).
路Full UK driving license is essential.
